Margaret Atwood And Sherman Alexie Are Coming To Green Bay

Margaret Atwood And Sherman Alexie Are Coming To Green Bay

Yes, it really is true! We are elated to announce that Margaret Atwood and Sherman Alexie will be coming to Green Bay within the month and book nerds around the area are rejoicing… at least we know we are. But wait, there’s more.

It isn’t just Atwood and Alexie that will be making their way to the Green Bay area. Their appearances are actually just a small part of a very large book and author festival known as UntitledTown that will be going on at the end of the month. This event is one of the biggest literature events for readers, writers and creators in Wisconsin, and we couldn’t be happier to host it right here in Green Bay.

What started as a somewhat small literature event has turned into a massive, three-day festival that will be taking place in Downton Green Bay on April 28th- 30th. This event is chalked full of readings, workshops, presentations, and a bunch of other super amazing events that will be put on by the 70-some other talented authors that will be presenting. The best part? It is completely free. Plus, it is being held at locations all over Downton, like coffee shops, restaurants, libraries and more, so you can show down on lunch or sip on a latte while soaking in the brilliance of these authors.

Unfortunately, if you are crazy for Atwood or Alexie, the free General Admission tickets are already sold out. Can you blame people for being excited? Of course, there are tons of other amazing authors that you can see, but we totally get it if you have these two specifically in your mind’s eye. If you would like to see them, you can pay for premium VIP seating. Yeah, you do have to shell out $50 for these awesome seats, but you will be incredibly close to the stage and you will be able to get in line for signing much faster. In our opinion, totally worth it.

Whether you are psyched to see Margaret Atwood and Sherman Alexie, of if the thought of dozens of other talented authors gets you pumped, you will be able to find something for you at this amazing festival. If you would like to learn more about UntitledTown, check out the schedule of events and find out which other talented creators will be attending, you can get all the information here.

We can’t wait for this event, and we hope to see you there!
